About Marc Mitchell
Marc Mitchell retired from the Blacksburg Virginia Police Department after 21 years of service, with 7 of those years operating as a detective. In addition, Marc was trained as a polygraph examiner and was the primary lead for 4 years. After retiring in 2025, he began conducting polygraph exams full time for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. He has experience conducting infidelity, criminal, post conviction sex offender, defense attorney, and pre-employment exams. Shortly after retiring from Blacksburg PD, Marc cofounded PolygraphReports.com to help him write reports faster and with significantly greater detail. The site has seen rapid adoption as users have praised the speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of the platform.
